Hi, and welcome to our site. My name is Robert McKenna. I am a Certified Service Dog Trainer #9102517893, a proud member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, and an AKC Evaluator #108278. I have been training dogs since 2014. I have spent many years working in the healthcare field, and with people who have severe disabilities. It was here I found my passion to work through dogs to facilitate a greater purpose. I found that people recovered even faster when they had access to a dog to pet. Sharing this science enabled me to continue working with and training dogs to exist in a highly regulated industry. That industry was the hospital environment. I worked and trained many Therapy Dogs, to provide relief to individuals suffering from many different diagnosis, and physical disabilities. If I and one dog can touch one person and make their immediate situation better; then we have done our job. I was able to do all of this while having my dog at my side day in and day out. This is part of the benefit of having a well-trained dog. Obedience training not only provides a method of keeping your dog safe, but also allows more establishments and the general public to recognize and be more tolerant of a well-behaved animal.
If you are looking for a higher connection with your dog, then you have come to the right place. I was just like you. I wanted to spend as much time with my dog as possible. I wanted to be able to take my dog anywhere I went. I did this while others marvel at how well behaved my dog is. So, if you're going to spend more time with your dog, why not spend that time doing things that are creative and fulfilling for the both of you.
Feel free to inquire about our classes and enjoy a course on our home site. We hold classes here in the comfort of Rainier. We do this to avoid distractions and give you the best possibility of learning.
Feel free to utilize our own Adventureland Forest trail to get a little energy out of your dog before class. Or enjoy the trails where you can exercise your dog and some of the lessons you have just been taught.

Our new training rooms will allow us to continue to train private classes and small group puppy classes. We will still use the Training Wheel when the weather is more hospitable, and for larger classes. For now, this new set up will be perfect for those classes, that require a private setting for you and your K9 Partner.
